We eat a salad almost every day so salad dressing recipes are really important to us. One of my favorite salad dressings growing up was the Wish Bone “Robusto” Italian. I stopped buying this dressing many years ago because I didn’t like all the ingredients that were listed on the bottle so it was time to make my own salad dressing. I use fresh herbs but you can also use dried herbs as a substitute. I use both depending on what I’m making for the week.
1/2 cup cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
1/2 grapeseed oil (or olive oil)
2 roasted garlic, minced
1 tsp onion powder (or shallot)
1.5 tbsp fresh basil, oregano, thyme and parsley, chopped (or substitute dry herbs)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp agave syrup
ground black pepper
