We wanted to share our oatmeal pancake recipe is case your looking for a hearty breakfast. We love to eat a good fluffy pancakes for breakfast or even dinner sometimes. The best part about pancakes is that they are easy to make and you can freeze the leftovers for another day.
Now that Matt is on the day shift we make our pancakes in advance and then he can take them for his breakfast. These tasty pancakes are great served with a little fruit salad or strawberries.
5.5 oz Unbleached, All Purpose Flour (King Arthur)
4.5 oz ground oatmeal
2 tbsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
3 tbsp butter, melted
Cooking Spray for the pan
The flour and oat flour total 2 cups which is 10oz. measure by weight.
