We love our Buttermilk Pancake Recipe it gives us light and fluffy pancakes. We will make a whole batch of these cakes and if we have left overs we will put them in the freezer for a later time when we need a quick breakfast. I shared an Oatmeal Pancake Recipe lately too. We’ve added the almond and vanilla extract to this recipe which we adapted from Cook’s Illustrated.
Buttermilk Pancake Recipe
2 cups unbleached flour
2 tbs vanilla sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup sour cream
2 large eggs
3 tbs unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
